I prefer Amelia, but I don't want to stick with an A theme.

My top choices are Emelia and Emilia. NN will be Emi

We spell our 5 yr olds as Emilia, for us it was kind of the Spanish form of Emily.

I like Emilia, beautiful name and having it spelt like that makes it less common than Amelia =)

I like Emilia nn Emi or Millie

I pronounce Amelia (uh.meal.yia) and Emilia (em.eal.yia) slightly different too, not sure if that changes anything but thought I'd point it out

I see Amelia and Emilia as 2 different names (not different enough that they'd be ok used as siblings, but not as alternate spellings of the same name either). They're both beautiful!

Emeelia
Emillia
Umelia
Emelia

I like the Emeellia version best because it looks more feminine and soft to me, maybe that's not a concern for you but I wanted to point it out. Emelia is beautiful too. Emillia, in my mind the spelling has a bit of a latina/Spanish hint like a female version of Emilio Estevez :laugh2: maybe that's a good thing??

I really like the Amelia choice though! It's really beautiful :flower:

I have a Zoe and Isaiah who are full siblings, with an unintentional Z sound.

This baby, and my last 2 children, are full siblings to each other, but half to Zoe and Isaiah. My last two children, unintentionally, ended up with A names, Anberlin and Asher.

I am 100% set of Amelia/Emilia/Emelia, but don't want to go with Amelia because I want to break the A thing, and based on my gender birthing pattern, my next one is a boy, and his name will (unintentionally) begin with E, lol

I LOVE the NN Emi too. I also pronounce Amelia and Emilia slightly different. AHh-meel-ia and Ehm-eel-ia

I think that makes a lot of sense, and Emilia works great :)
