My hubby thinks all presents come from Santa, none from mum and dad. Frankly I want some credit and would like to do half/ half!!
Mainly because I have read of someone who only got Santa gifts and wondered if her parents didn't love her because her cousin got gifts off Santa and parents!

Small presents are from Santa and I ensure one of them is something she asked Santa for when she went to see him. Main gift is from mummy and daddy.

I had most of mum/dad then some off Santa aswel. However Santa delivered all the presents the ones the parents bought had to he 'sent' to Santa beforehand for him to bring them me.

I bought some stuff for LO the other week and OH unpacked them and said where are these going? I replied 'to Santa' he looked at me and said 'really where?' I replied 'to Santa' haha he just looked at me and laughed.

I love Christmas. :)

Ours are all from Santa. She gets more excited over that Santa "has been" and I love it. We get the credit when it's her birthday and she gets presents from us. X

Thomas doesn't understand who santa is but we tell him they're from santa, some from us and family. Hopefully he'll understand more next year.

When I was small, all the presents in my stocking were from santa and I always had a 'big' present that was also from santa. The rest were from mum/dad but they always told me that they gave some money to santa to bring them

We'll probably just do the same. I won't be wrapping his 'big' presents (we've got him a ride on car and a trampoline) so these will be from Santa.

Same here.

As a kid we had a mixture.
Stocking and smaller presents from Santa, main present and other presents from Mum&Dad. Santa brought them all.

We also got to open a present early on Christmas Eve which would always be new pyjamas to wear that night, i want to carry on that tradition

I will do what my parents did with me! I loved our tradition! On Christmas eve we all went to the sock basket (basket full of odd socks) and found a big sock each. The sock got hung by the fireplace (we dont have a fireplace at our house though) and Santa's presents were little gifts that could fit in the sock. When we woke in the morning the bulging sock would be at the end of our beds and we would all run into each others rooms yelling that Santa has come and we would leap onto our parents bed. Dad always did one for my mum and she made one for him. There was always a satsuma at the bottom and a bag of chocolate money and then lots of little gifts filling up the rest of it with Quality Street chocolates mixed in! All the big presents would be under the tree and we would open these over the course of the day. I loved my childhood!

A couple of years ago!

In my house Santa will come and stick all their presents in their sacks and they will all say from Santa! Their main presents go under the tree and will say from mum and dad! All the other presents under the tree are from other family members and will say so too :)

In our house, Santa had bought all the presents, but mom and dad had paid for them and sent the money to Santa, so we had a mixture of both I suppose

My parents did mixture of both. They bought some presents and Santa brought some. But Santa brought them unwrapped and parents "helped him wrap them" :haha: Unfortunately for my parents, I was a clever little thing and realized at 6 years old that Santa and Mom had the same handwriting! So that ruse didn't last long.

We'll be doing the same when our kids are old enough to understand. Santa brings some and Mom and Dad buy some.

All presents are from Santa in our house and always have been so we carry on with that, they get to open a wee present from under the tree on Xmas eve which is usually a pair of pj's or a new pair of slippers, which are from us.

Although I almost ruined it for my DD1 who is 6 last night while talking to oh on the phone about how I had changed my mind about what we were getting DD2 but managed to change quickly what I was saying thank god lol

Funny how everyone is different!

We are following my family tradition. Mom and dad buy all small presents and put them wrapped under the tree on Christmas Eve. Then on Christmas morning, the biggest and best present is sitting unwrapped (but kind of displayed) under the tree from Santa. Also stocking is empty before bed and full from Santa in the morning. It was so awesome to see the presents under the tree but the addition of the big present and the stockings changed everything so you could see 'Santa was here!!'

DH and I disagree if Santa should wrap or not, I think not because that's how it was done for me but also that's how you could tell it was from Santa. And santas presents shouldn't look like mom and dads!! DH thinks Santa should wrap, it's what his parents did.

I'm going to do the same as my own childhood. Small gifts wrapped under tree from me and other family and are opened on Christmas Eve, then all santa gifts are placed out around the tree during the night and unwrapped. I still remember how excited I would be when I got up on Christmas day and went downstairs and saw the family room full of toys. I can't wait until lo is a bit older!!

Stuff small enough to put in the (admittedly quite large) stocking came from Santa, but any really big presents (bikes, etc) came from Mum & Dad. I guess there was a certain amount of logic about what was reasonable to fit in the sleigh there, haha.

I do all from Santa...... although I should get some of the credit really

We do both.

The ones that are under the tree wrapped early (to get the kids excited) are from Mom and Dad. Santa brings his on Xmas morning, and has his own special wrapping paper so the kids can tell which ones are from him! It's very fun :) He also leaves a note thanking such thoughtful little girls for the cookies and milk. :haha:

My mum and dad did a couple from them both, and the rest were from santa xx

We don't wrap her Santa presents so they don't say anything, we just say they're from Santa.
