Who brings the presents Santa? Mum/dad? Or both?

Not quite sure how to answer the poll as all wrapped presents are from us & family and then we put out stockings that will have small cheap toys and selection boxes in them but none are wrapped or anything and nothing from santa goes under the tree xx

We do stocking and 1 biggish present from Father Christmas first thing Xmas morning but the rest are under the tree from mummy and daddy - along with all the other presents for other people.

It would worry me having every thing from FC, what happens when they start to question whether he is real - they probably worry they won't get anything!!

Santa brings most gifts except one or two from us. We wrap in different papers.

When we were young all our presents were wrapped and from Santa.

When we give DS his Chrismas Eve bag I think we will give him one or two gifts from us. Everything else he gets in the morning under the tree and in his stocking will be from Santa (all wrapped). Just so that he won't think we don't love him enough to buy him a present.

Although, I'm sure neither me or my siblings thought anything of not getting Christmas gifts from our parents...

When we were little, all presents were from Father Christmas until one of us realised that our mean parents didn't get us anything for Christmas! From then, a couple were from mum and dad. The presents from parents were wrapped, from Father Christmas we had massive stockings (probably the size of two pillow cases) and anything bigger just stood by our pile. There were four of us though so I don't expect mum wanted to spend three weeks wrapping!

With my kids, I think we'll have to do it so that the main present comes from mum and dad and everything else is from Father Christmas. OH is not really on board with the idea of Father Christmas so it's easier to sell it to him if the main presents are from us! Plus, we go to my mum's for the few days around and including Christmas Day, so it's possible in the future that we might not be able to take all presents with us, so Father Christmas would bring presents to Grandma's and presents from mum and dad could be opened when we get home.

All presents are from us and sent to Santa to bring on Christmas Eve if they have been good. Santa also brings one main present which is from him and is left unwrapped (last year a kitchen, this year a doll's house). That's the way my parents done it when I was a kid and I like it so we're going to carry on with that tradition :)

My first is due on the 29th, but I'm doing Christmas as my mum has always done when I was little. All presents from mum/dad/family member and then one special present from Santa and a stocking from Santa.
Parents buy presents and give them to Santa to keep until Christmas!

In our house stockings from Santa and under tree is from mum dad and family! I want it to be easy as possible when she gets old enough to start asking questions about Santa etc xx

Wow, everyone is different. OH and I opted to follow his family tradition for Santa. Where we get Jaxon one big present that's put together and ready for him under the tree, and his stocking full of little odds and ends. Those are all from Santa.

Than we have presents under the tree from mom and dad and his family in Texas.

I grew up with no santa. That's right, I never had a stocking or any santa gifts and its b/c my mom thought santa was stupid. I never believed, as my brothers and I were told from very young ages Santa doesn't exists. My first stocking was 5 years ago when OH and I spent our first Christmas together, and yes I was super excited about it too!

I do believe I missed out in this department and my kids will always have Santa gifts even if they don't believe!

Mum brings 1, Dad brings 1, Santa brings the rest (except for other relatives)

When I was a child my mum bought all of the wrap ups and the main present was from Father Christmas.

In our house thought I think it might be the opposite way around in that Father Christmas brings the smaller presents and the main presents from me / him?

Father Christmas buys, wraps and delivers everything!! That's why you wrote a list of gifts and send it to him :)

I couldn't give two hoots about getting credit for buying gifts for my daughter, the magic of the anticipation of whether he's been overnight will be all the credit needed.

We always got stockings. I don't remember if they were supposed to be from Santa or not, but my parents did do some gifts from Santa. My DH and I aren't doing Santa at all, but our kids will have stockings just the same.

What does everyone put in their stockings? My parents just did candy, but we were also living in another (3rd world) country and my grandma would send it for my mom to put in there. Maybe we'd have one small toy or something but what I remember most is the candy!
