I only buy for my 4 kids and my husband and then my best friend and her family normally get a big tower of treats or something like that.

Are you a person who buys for everyone or a selected few??

EVERYONE! i love shopping for everyone except for the selected few who never seem happy or grateful no matter what you get!

Stan, Hannah, my parents, kids (under 18s in both families), and Stan's mother and father

i have quite a few -maddi and james, both sets of parents and grandparents, bils x2, sil, a few friends, and x3 aunties and x2 cousins x

I buy for James and connor, and then me and james buy rest of both familys between us

Everyone :( I have OHs family this year too :dohh:

My husband and I have an agreement with our own siblings to not exchange gifts - just presents for the kids. So there are three little cousins, two sets of parents and sometimes each other. We usually do something like a present to ourselves from ourselves - for example, we treated ourselves to a little stovetop espresso maker for our anniversary. It was a little treat that we both get lots of enjoyment out of. We'll do something like that. We don't usually give each other separate presents anymore.
I occasionally participate in gift exchanges at work, but those are almost always a pick a name out of a hat situations.

Elyse, OH, my mom & dad ... he takes care of his parents, we just write both our names on the cards. He also has to buy for his 2 brothers and 2 grandmothers who live with him.

The kids, my dad and his partner, my brother and his partner, my 3 neices and nephews,( don't buy for there parents, which is agreement we have to make things cheaper) my best friends kids

OH and I have a spending limit of £15

Theres probably a couple of others but can't think at the moment! lol

I get for DH, my parents and my best friend. DH sorts out for his side of the family really. I did get for my siblings and their many offspring (9 altogether) but now we have Byron we have entered the rule of only for the kids. It's annoying though as we only have one and the others have two, three and four so we really get the short straw! lol

I buy for my kids, DH (& he gets me something) and then lots of family members. I shouldn't really cos it costs a fortune we don't really have, but they buy my kids so I feel obliged to buy the kidless ones a present back. Then there are our friends kids and teachers at school... I'm sticking to a strict spending limit this year though, last year me and DH did without and it seems silly to do it again just so we can buy other people, especially people we hardly ever see.

I buy for my son 1st then if i can afford it, I do my best to get my brothers 3 kids a bit of something & my mum. I don't normally buy for anyone else as i can't afford it, I struggle as it is buying for josh let alone anyone else so xmas is usually my most hated time of year, hoping this yr will be bit diff

Too many people, even though we just buy for family alone, thats still around 30 people

No one! :muaha: Im not joking either. Scrouge!

This year will be different of course. Miss Meadow will be spoilt.

We buy for the kids... each other,my brother,my mum,MIL,BIL, and usually my best friends (2 of them) and there son...x

I used to get stuff for my bessie mate but I never know what to get anymore lol

SIL& her fiance
2 x brothers and 1 brothers girlfriend
4 of my friends

Sounds like our list too! Last year my mom suggested making gifts for our side of the family. It went really well, although this year I will have to get more of a head start. Had a bit of last minute panics..........you try hot glueing at midnight. lol

I still buy for everyone on my hubby's side (parents, sisters, brother in laws, neices, aunts, uncles..............) I truely love each and everyone of them, but it seems a little out of control to me. Must try to cut back a bit.

delicate question!

we buy for parents, siblings, each other and something small for each set of grandparents

although it is expected for us to buy for oh aunt uncle and cousins.. ive never bought for mine so i dont see why we should buy for one side and not the other..

i have 5 sets of aunts/uncles and 10 cousins oh has 5 sets and 12 cousins!!!

as it is we have 7 siblings between us 4 of who have partners.. a set of parents each and 3 step parents!
