this may sound strange as its my 3rd preg. I just class movements as kicks etc. But ive read others say about hiccups but didnt no wht felt like.

I'm curious as well.. This is my first so I have no idea.

I didn't feel hiccups with my first and often wondered about it but my 2nd had hiccups all the time and there was no mistaking it! It was lovely to begin with but after a few weeks of constant hiccups it was SO annoying :) It just felt like a constant twitch inside the bump. Nothing like kicks, just like your bump was spasming.

hmm i get strong kicks an then what feels like babys jumping/moving but dosnt feel like a prod like kick does lol not as strong either. Now feels like bubs movin constantly am 23+5 an been feeling fluters an movements since 10+wks.

You know how you get a random twitch in your eye, or some random muscle? It feels like that, except it's your belly. I felt mine for the first time the other night and it took me a minute to realize what it was.

hmm dunno if id say was twitch i feel lol feel alot in my bump. Tight an sore, then theres all diff movement sensations lol. Also felt like bubs tryin escape scaling up side lol roamin.

It's just a rhythmic popping type feeling. My dd got them all the time. She was facing down and it would 'echo' on my bladder/pelvic floor so was pretty annoying!

For me it starts off feeling like kicking but it isn't concentrated in one spot and it's regular and rhythmic and lasts a few minutes.
I've not felt it yet with this one but I did a lot with ds, midwife said it would be a good feeder - and he was, some say lots of hiccups can be a sign of reflux which he had too.
Xx

Yep, my son had Cows milk protein allergy which caused reflux and I was sure it was linked to the hiccups.

Ive just figured out, at 37 weeks what hiccups feel like!

To me, they feel like kicks that monitor a heartbeat rhythm, that are consistent for a few minutes and can happen once a day or just sparingly.
