why are my cycles getting longer??

Hi everyone just wondering if anyone has experienced this and found out what's causing it?

I've been ttc for almost 3 years now with no luck, my periods have always been regular other than the odd day here and there normally 30-31 days. I'm 24 btw, now for the last 6 months my period has been late every cycle ranging from 35-48 days long.

I've not been stressed or worrying about ttc as I've been trying so long now I'm kinda just waiting to see if I get pg not actively charting or opking so I no I'm not stressed about that I'm now 3 days late again without even realising until today.

If it was polycystic overys or a cyst wouldn't my periods have been irregular before now? Any insight will be appreciated. Also went to the dr a couple months ago and had bloods everything was normal all hormones,kidneys, thyroid. He referred me to a fertility specialist, I got an appointment for in 2 months time then got a letter from the hospital saying the dr didn't send away the information about me that they needed so they cancelled it! Was so p****d off going to wait until new year until I go bk to the dr. Want to try and enjoy myself before I have to endure more worrying!

I would get PCOS checked out. I'm not sure but it prob can develop as can endo. Good luck
