Why are the weather presenters always pregnant?

Just a light hearted thread, I was having this discussion with a friend this morning, has anyone else noticed? maybe it's just here in the south west

I have noticed the one who does the bbc weather in the am for London is pregnant as well.

Haha I see lots of pregnant weather presenters too! Maybe the maternity leave pay is good...

Maybe it's just because news presenters etc are usually behind a table so we only notice the weather girl bumps?

I don't watch the weather but I'm going to now to see if they're all pregnant in my area too
