Sorry, but I need abit of a moan!
For those of you that dont know, my partner had the reversal a year ago. After having 2 sperm samples done (which werent great) the next step is to check im ok. The doctor said I need to do two blood tests, cd2 and cd22.
CD2 fell on Easter bank holiday (just my luck!) after lots of fretting and pleading, I managed to get it done at the hospital. Now my CD2 also falls on this bank holiday!! I spoke to my doctor last week and she told me not to worry and that I could have it done at the doctors itself as long as I booked myself in, plus I could do it on Friday as it wouldnt be too much of a problem being a day or so early. 'Fantastic!' I thought - all week Ive been trying to get an appointment, and getting nowhere! I went into speak to the receptionist to explain and she was no help at all, she even told me they have stopped doing blood tests at the hospital now. My doctor isnt in this week so I couldnt ask help from her.
After lots more fretting about getting this blood test done, I called the hospital, who said it was no problem and the receptionist at my doctors had got it wrong.
Why does it have to be soooo difficult!! I feel like im going round in circles sometimes.
Anyway, im trying to be positive and at least I can have the tests I need doing.
Sorry girls, I just had to have a bit of a rant!
