Why cant we delete our own threads and posts?

because it would cause havoc with other people's posts if authors could randomly delete them. if you need something deleting, you can either go and edit the posts and just replace the text with a dot or something, or report the post to admin. x

You can edit your posts if you want to remove something you have posted. If you have an issue with a particular thread you have made, you can report it to us using the report button

I am an active member on another mommy forum where there is NO editing, NO deleting of anything, by mods or otherwise, and no locking threads. This is why I have so many typos!! LOL!! I am not used to it!!! LOL!
