I noticed this today as well. I could hear it but it was quiet and kept disapearing. Luckily, I had my month dr apt and got a quick ultrasound, dr said baby was facing my back. This is why I also havent felt much movement.
I've noticed that too. I'm 24+5 and I first found his heartbeat at around 10 weeks. Now whenever I want to find it I have to listen through a lot of what sounds like static and interference. It seems to be that he's moving the whole time and the doppler for some reason picks up on that over the heartbeat. I'm not worried at all because my doctor is able to pick it up just fine with her slightly better quality Doppler.
mine too, but i know baby is active so the position of the baby has alot to do with it. no worries, your baby will eventually be facing the doppler and the heartbeat will be so loud including the kicks and all!
Facing my back would actually make sense and I don't know why I didn't think of it sooner. At my 20 week scan, she started off facing my back and the tech said that could be the cause of my constant non-stop horrendous back pain.
Thanks girls 4D scan tonight so she better turn around
I agree it's much harder to find the heartbeat now that I'm further along. I think now there's just more room in there maybe? Or because they are bigger the heart could be at a completely different location than say their feet. And she definitely runs from it as soon as I find it... she sometimes gives me a big kick in protest (I don't think they like it haha). I used to pick it up right away.. but now I have to search a little... but when i do find it - it's very loud.
