Why is it so taboo?

I feel as though I can't even talk about my little angel that grew his wings April 2, 2012 because I am pregnant at the moment and should celebrate the life inside of me instead.

Don't get me wrong... of course I am elated that I have made it this far with this LO... We've both been through A LOT.

But that doesn't make me mourn for the one I lost any less painful...

Yet.... I feel as though I can't even mention him.

Especially to DBF.... he gets so upset and doesn't even want me to say a single word about it....

It's so hard because my angel's due date is fast approaching.... And I have no one to even share my pain with.....

It's hard for others to understand the long-lasting pain of miscarriage when they haven't gone through it, so they will think of the tiny baby you lost as somehow less than a baby. The word taboo is accurate. A new baby does help ALOT (the hardest miscarriage I ever had was the first when I was still struggling to conceive again at the time of my would-be due date), but there is still pain with each loss. Know that you are not alone....

I should have a 1 year old this December.... but I do not.

Although pregnant right now, I am going to think about the baby I lost who I feel is supposed to be with me now.

you have every right to feel how you want to feel

My DH and I have always talked about our daughter (lost at 27 weeks). We don't really talk about the MC though. Now that we are pregnant again DH is so excited about our new little one, but does still remember our daughter.
