Had my CD5 tests this morning whereby they took 4 viles of blood.

They will be testing for chlamidia (sp?), prolactin (LH/FSH), thromb something or the other and rubella.

They have already tested me for chlamidia and rubella when I was pregnant! I have also been tested for the thromb something or the other after I had a my second m/c.

Is this the norm for CD5 tests?

Cheers Rumps x

They basically just test for everything even if they have already tested before. It's just the way they do it, no real reason, but for FSH/LH and all that they say its because the body often changes and they like to have an up to date result.

It's better them testing for everything than missing something out and having to re-do.

Thanks Curly, glad that is the case, I thought they had got it wrong or something x

Better to get it wrong with too many tests than too little, no?
