Will DH's current UTI affect sperm

Hey everyone- got my positive OPK tonight so planning on BDing these next two days if DH will cooperate. He has a UTI and just started abx last night- by the time he's home tmrw it'll be 5 pills of cipro he's taken. I hope he feels better and will BD because of course he's been in pain and we haven't BDd in a week not for lack of me trying!
Anyway I wanted to know if anyone knows if him having a UTI will affect his sperm in a negative way and if I should write this cycle off.
The thing that sucks is my cycles are long and irregular. My last cycle was 43 days and currently I'm on CD 32 with a positive OPK tonight estimating it'll put my O at CD 34. That's 6 weeks and 2 days from one O day to the next for me and it sucks ass cuz it's an Fing month and a half and who knows when the next one will be
