Will I have to pay for ibjectables

Just a little background info
I'm 21 ttc our first with pcos
iv done 3 rounds of clomid all unsuccesful
went to c fs yesterday and he told me to stop clomid give my body a break for a month and then go into gonal f injectables
do u thibk I will have to pay for them cos of my age hw didn't mention it

Hey there! Didn't want to read and run. Not sure how much help I'll be, it doesn't look like you live in the US, so I don't know about NHS or anything. I know here in the states, if you have good insurance, it will cover the majority of fertility drugs.

I'm in the same boat you're in. I have PCOS, as well, and didn't respond at all to Clomid. I'm doing injectables now and my body seems to be responding better, hopefully that'll be true for you, too. Good luck!

Also... have you asked about IUI (Intrauterine insemination)? In conjunction with the Clomid or Injectables? It helps better your odds... as they wash the sperm to get all the strongest ones, then inject it high up in the uterus closer to the tubes where they have a better chance of meeting up with the egg

I'm in the States- and we have great insurance that covers 50% of all Fertility Treatments... but not all insurance covers. A close friend has to pay for all out of pocket... so I'd for sure check with your doc and/or insurance Co. to see how that all works!

Im on ivf and just have to pay standard prescrption cost for any meds. So will only cost you about £7.80 for ur injectables hopefull Good luck with itx

Why does being under 23 mean you have to pay?!
Everyone has to pay prescriptions regardless of age x

Under 23 means I cnt have ivf or iui on nhs so I dnt no of I'd have to pay for the drugs or just precription x

We have to pay for all the drugs, but it is just the normal prescription cost.
Would have thought yours will be the same?! Hopefully!
How old are you and where abouts are you?! Age restrictions depend on where you live. X
