So i finally hit 37 weeks a few days ago and i am so ready to get this baby out of me since ive been having pain in my upper right abdomen right under my boob since about 30 weeks(Baby is squishing my kidney and making it swell) anyways we started the eviction process last night with something simple. sex. anyways about 2 hours later i was having contractions about every 8-9 mins for 2 hours straight and then they just calmed down and stopped out of no where. Anyone know what the likelyhood of it working again and for longer(maybe for real) if we try again today. any stories or experiences would be great. thanks.

babies come when they are good and ready fact... ive been having the same pain aswell hun babys foot has been wedged there for ages but im 12 days off 37 weeks so just have to make do... ive also been having braxton hicks more reguarly but labours a long way off...

The pain i have been having is not babys foot. it is definitly my kidney they did an ultrasound and its quite swollen. ive been put on morphine twice for it but it always comes back when that wears off. And the contractions are for sure contractions according to my doctor not braxton hick so im hoping im alot closer than you seem to think i am. baby is fully engaged im 75% effaced and 2 cm dilated. just keeping my fingers crossed. Dr seems to think ill go early to so heres to hoping lol.

I feel your pain too (really) my right hand side ribs are killing me. The pain is constant burning and its driving me mad, I want to rib my own ribs out - or preferably have the baby!

But yeah - the baby will come when the baby is good and ready. But if you do have any tips on relieving the rib pain PLEASE share them!!! xxx good luck
