Will they still do it if I have a cold?

As the title really... My daughter and I both have a cough and cold. I still have 6 days to go before my scheduled C Section (breech baby and previous c section), so I'm hoping to be better by then!

I'm not so worried about myself, (although I can't imagine coughing after a c section very comfortable,) I'm more worried that baby will be here and get a cold straightaway.

So will they still do the section if the cough / cold is still lingering does anyone know?

Yeah they will. It's not really a huge deal, baby will have your antibodies through the placenta, so the chances of baby getting a cold right away are pretty slim. Just try to wash your hands as much as possible
