My OH earns around 14,000 a year.

I have been working, but only for the past few months, and only take home around £600 a month.

I haven't been working with them long enough to receive SMP, and don't think I'll qualify for maternity allowance either. I'm going on leave in a month or so and not sure whether I'll return or not.

Will my time working effect the amount of tax credits we get?

I'm really worried about this because if it means we get less AND I'm not getting maternity allowance either, then we'll be a lot worse off despite me not working.

Help please! xx

You should still get WTC anyway , they will take into account your full years income.
We earnt 17,000 and got £25 a week WTC & 225 a month CTC
