Hi everyone

At what age did your LOs grow out of needing to be winded? What signs did they show that they no longer needed full-on winding?

Toby is using Dr Brown's bottles but we'd quite like to go back to using "normal" bottles so we can pass the Dr Brown's bottles onto someone we know who is pregnant. We tried him on Avent bottles last week as the teat shape / size / flow seems to match the Dr Brown bottles the most, but he seemed really bad with wind almost immediately. We're going to try TT CTN bottles in a week or so as he started on those before his wind was really bad.

With the Dr Brown's bottles, we barely have to wind him now but still can't be sure its the bottles or whether he has "just grown out of it". He does burp quite a bit on his own at random moments too!

Thanks in advance, Joo xxx

I would stick with the Dr Browns bottles. Your friends LO might not even need them, I know Ruby is fine with Avent bottles...

i will never let go of my dr brown bottles lol but as claire said not every baby needs them but they were the only thing tht helped luisa's colic

i havent winded luisa regularly for about a month now,,, i only do it if she in pain with trapped wind but most of the time she bring it up herself now :)

I would never give up Dr Browns bottles they were a life saver for us. Phoebe brings up most of her wind herself but sometimes she needs a little bit of help.
