hello ladies, i am on the hunt for some new clothes and want them to be easily accessible for BF'ing, i've seen a few nice ponchos would these be practical??

i think i may struggle with BF'ing tops due to having a rather large pair of boobs the slits on them do not match up to my nipple...

so anybody got any suggestions

I'll just wear a tshirt with a zip up hoodie most days, nice and easy!

the issue arises if i need to feed in a t shirt...... would mean half stripping off.... and in a cafe that is not gonna be easy or fun, pre pregnancy i was a 38G size 16-20 depending on shop etc so i'm hardly twiggy

2 tops, vest underneath, t-shirt or whatever on top. Lift the t-shirt and pull down the vest, attach baby to boobie. Add on a cardigan for a winter wardrobe. And having a dressy scarf is also useful for whne you are latching baby on and helping to cover up.

Primark is a good place to get vests from as they are between £1-£2 and you can get a bunch of different colours that match whatever top your wearing over it. I have big boobies and never had any problems with this method.

thanks hun, i'm hoping that will work, the only thing is i over heat very very easily, i'm still walking about in winter with t-shirt and no tops on..... (winter and summer in NI is very much colder than sunny Dorset)

what size do primark go up to do you know???

has anybody tried a bump band to cover up from the boob down and does that work?

Hi, I wear a bump band (I'm a size 12). It works for the majority of times but I have a habit of losing it sometimes - think this is because it is now too big because no longer accommodates a bump, think I'm gonna invest in a smaller size.

I wear a vest under a top or jumper too. I just get cheapy vests so i don't mind if they get stretched by being pulled down. A poncho would be handy if your LO doesn't mind being covered while feeding but could be awkward to hike up otherwise
