Does anybody have a certain sling in mind they would recommend come Winter?
I live in Winnipeg so it snows heavily for about 5-6 months, & lightly for about 1 month out of the year. My baby is already not fitting in his snugli with just his Autumn clothes on, the leg holes are too tight.
Mind you I have to bundle him ALOT, it frequently goes to -35, sometimes even -50 in Winter (If it's -50 we aren't going ANYWHERE though!).

-35 & -50  we are so lucky in the uk:(

no advice though hun:hugs:

-35 -50
Can only suggest one of the fabric ones such as hug-a-bub, moby, etc as you will probably have to wrap baby in its warm clothes then put him into the sling, as the sling material is light so will not provide much warmth, but as the material is so long, they will accommodate the extra clothing LO will be wearing. Good luck - hope it doesn't get to - 50 !!!!

I think the Peanut Shell does one in fleece, that might help a little bit. Yikes, that is sooo freaking cold! I start complaining when we're below 80*F. (How sad is that?? LOL)

Good heavens! How can you live in those cold temperatures?! Mind you here in Dubai in the summer it goes up to 48degrees centigrade which is pretty HOT!
Why dont you make your own sling with a snug fleece lining?

If you are not good with that kind of stuff you can always ask a seamstress or tailor to make one for you.At least then it will fit nicely as it is made according to your body.
