i haven't tried nursing in public yet and have been in two minds whether i will... but this has definitely opened my eyes a bit more - why should I be embarrassed to feed my baby in the natural way how God intended?!

I have a hard time doing it as well, and not because I'm embarrassed at all. In fact I do it sometimes and I do not care if people are offended, I could care less what they think because I'm feeding my baby naturally and am proud of myself for it! The reason I don't do it often, sad to say is because of sick creeps. I don't live in a trashy area or anything but I just don't want to feed my baby anywhere where both LO and I aren't 100% comfortable.. I don't want any sick pervs checking me out as I feed my baby!
To anybody else who thinks this shouldn't be legal because their children will ask questions or because they think we're flaunting ourselves, they can't go f**k off. I'm sorry but choosing to feed my baby the way we were suppose to is a great thing, and should never be looked down upon. I'm not going to stay in my home and shelter my baby because feeding your baby should 'only be done at home'. Sorry if that's harsh, but I seriously get so pissed and offended at people who think BF shouldn't be allowed! I can't believe the nerve of some of those people at the air port, or at the mall telling the BFing mothers to get lost!
