womb lining, whats normal?

Had mine checked today and they couldnt say what it was, it was either "normal" or 5.3mm, they couldnt tell as apparantly my bowels were causing a shadow, one measurement was too thin but moving the probe and putting the cursors to where they thought it might of been it was showing as normal, slightly worried now as about to ov according to follicle size but scared that if the lining isnt thick enough if I was fortunate to get caught then I would miscarry as its just not thick enough.

They couldnt ask the fs as he is on hol this week but they have taken scan pics to show him and they will check it again next month, im now in limbo and wonder if I shouldnt try anymore this month for fear of it not being right to sustain a pregnancy

hi sweetheart - my lining was 5.3 on ov day this month and I am now preggo! I am def still concerned about m/c because its so thin, but have to wait and see.

Wow congrats! Fingers and toes all crossed for you! Did they prescribe any progesterone for you or keeping a eye on it? xx

torilou, they have been monitoring my progesterone and its really good - 51 yesterday! So it was really the clomid that screwed up my lining. I hope you've stopped worrying a wee bit now

Not really lol, im just hoping the fs will look at the scan pics himself and say it was normal and it was just the shadow getting in the way, think im just about to ov but just dont feel this is going to be the month, I dont know if the longer it goes on the harder it is to be motivated about it, feel like having a good cry and no idea why as everything has been good news so far! xxx

Were you on clomid yourself then? Can I ask how long youve been ttc on that? xx
