So it would seem that quite a few of us are going through the dreaded wonder week 19 at the moment! Any of you mummies of older LOs that can remember when things started to get better?
Let's see the light at the end of the tunnel!!!

Never!

Kidding... it started to get better after Week 17 for us. By Week 19/20, she was almost back to herself.

Yes! Someone please say it does get better?! My ear's hurt and it will be 2 weeks until my black bin is collected? (this is where he is going if carrys on for much longer!!)

How long did it last for those that survived? By surviving i of the one's who mum AND baby made it through!

As the mummy of an 18 week old, I have to ask.... what's wonder week 19? It doesn't sound good! Lol

haha so true...I don't know who this child is! This morning I swear she was glaring at me...so I glared right back.

6 weeks for us. But I promise the following wonder weeks are nowhere near as bad. If you survive this one, you survive them all.

My LO had a good spell in the middle, weeks 17 & 18 (15 & 16 by due date) and she was her normal self again at 19 weeks exactly from due date :flow:

Good luck :coffee:

4 weeks almost to the day for us, it was like the demon child switch went off and he has been super adorable ever since. Just keep reminding yourself that it does get better. Fwiw I don't know anyone else whose baby went through it

Omg, I wish I never opened this post!!! What the hell is wonder week, why is it awful, and what causes it?!!

babies have developmental leaps and those can make them fussier, sleeping less etc.
19 is a huge one also called 4 month sleep regression

oh yeah..im tired :nope::cry::haha:

DD will b 17 weeks on thursday.. 18 weeks by due date.

We've been having on and off shockers of days since she hit 17 weeks. I know she's not doing it on purpose but I'm at the end of my tether on those days! Even on a good day nothing makes her happy except me holding her constantly or letting her "stand up". Can't get anything done around the house without a constant soundtrack of grizzling and groaning which quickly turns into a full on crying fit. And her sleeping's gone to pot too. Gah! Can't wait till she's over this :(

It's 12.45am. She just fell asleep after a day with only 1 good nap and lots of crying.
I have been trying to get her to sleep since 10.15!!!
Now my legs are tired from rocking her, since she will cry if I do it while sitting down and we don't have a rocking chair .. Zzzzzzz

It ended at exactly 20 weeks for us. I was soooo pleased to see the back of it!! Approaching ww 26 now, they keep coming!!

I just had an 'oh is that what that was' moment  In my defence, I only got the app at week 26...

I think my LO is going through this he´s nearly 21 weeks old and has been a nightmare for the past 2 weeks: constant screaming if he doesn´t have my undivided attention, wants to be fed constantly all day, wont nap at all for more than 5 minutes in the day and he´s started waking up in the night. he was sleeping 9 or 10 hours in the night and now he goes to bed at 9pm wakes up at 3am, 5am, 6am and 7.30am to eat. I´m hoping it ends soon cos some days I end up crying myself from exhaustion! :coffee:

Ours lasted til 21 weeks, we had 4 weeks of quiet bliss and then we started the Week 26 WW!!

And I thought the 19 week one was bad... add in some seperation issues and teething for good measure and you got yourself a whole load of fun! x
