work meeting

i have to go for a meeting this week at work about being off sick since november and he has stopped my full time contract and said i have to go on bank shifts, i really dont want to go alone and my OH has offered to come with me to offer support.

can my manager say no?

Hay hun - i am sure that you can always have someone in these sort of meetings for support. They might say that he cant say much etc though.
I had an 'official' meeting in work last year because of a redundancy threat and they said i could bring a union rep or any other person for support.
