Worried had a smear and didn't know I was pregnant (updated need more advice)

I had little cramps my entire 4th week. But from what I have heard it is just the stretching of the uterus. Have you made an appointment to go see an OBGYN yet? I am shocked they did a Paps before taking a pregnancy test. I have never heard of a doc office that doesn't get a urine sample and and do a pregnancy test prior to the GYN coming in to give your Paps. With that said though, I think most docs do a paps during the first prenatal visit. So I doubt it harmed you in any way Please keep is posted on how everything goes.

It was my fault as I had my dates mixed up and here in the uk they just ask you your LMP date and only test if it's needed x

I still keep getting bits of spotting or rather streaks of blood in discharge so I saw my GP.
She was rather unhelpful and insisted a provided a urine sample for a pregnancy test and that she do some swabs in case of infection. She didn't reassure me at all and I actually felt like she didn't believe me I was pregnant or that I was getting any spotting. She booked me to go back and see her next Tuesday where she would book me a scan if things haven't settled down.

I'm not at all happy with this tbh, I've had 3 mmc in the past and with 2 of them had spotting like this. I just need at least some reassurance that things are ok and not to be told come back in a week.
To me any blood need investigating and it's worrying me silly.

What should I do now, wait or phone NHS direct and see what they say??

Unfortunately here they docs dont do very much for you in early pregnancy. The fact that discharge is pink would seem like there is no need to worry. It could be possible that the smear irritated you cervix and it could be coming from this. When you are 6 weeks your epu will see you, and the fact you have had 3 mmc it should be no problems. I would phone them as here the ladies in epu were much more helpful than any docs i have saw. goodluck

I had streaks in my discharge as well and finally found out it was from sleeping on my stomach they had me laying on my left side with my feet elevated and it helped my try that till you can find another doctor?
