Hello,
My actual miscarraige took place on Sunday a week ago in 8 hours and I'm still cramping enough to take pain meds (not as much) and everyonce in awhile I'll pass clots but they are small like the size of half a dime and this worries me on Wednesday I went to the er for the pain but they told me it was a complete miscarraige, even though they did nothing to confirm that my levels were 250 but they didn't do an ultrasound nor a pelvic exam just shot me up with strong meds and sent me home if my head had been more clear I would have demanded either or. My bleeding has continues and I wouldn't even have to change a pad in a whole 24hrs but I do for hygienic reasons. I passed everything when I would of been around 12 weeks. But the pain does get really bad at times and other times it's not there! And it's either pink with bright red mucousy discharge or mainly pink it the passing of the small clots in concerned about and my pain is this normal?!?!?! Also I can't tell of I have a temp because my thermometer doesn't seem accurate and I'm cold on the inside but it is freezing out

I have no advice as I only just passed my baby yesterday.

My bleeding got worse afterwards but has since settled down a bit. I'm still bleeding, but not as much.

I've been getting slight cramps but not as much. My mum used to work on the emergency gynae unit and she told me I'd probably get more cramps etc for a couple of days.

I really have no advice on what to do but I hope your ok and I'm sorry for your loss

:hugs:

Everyone is different. How heavy are your periods normally? My periods are very light, I stopped bleeding three days after I passed my baby. I'd say if you are worried please go back to your doctor or hospital, don't suffer in silence. If you think this doesn't seem right listen to your intuition :hugs:

It sounds like you're having chills...does your blood also smell funny, see if OH can check your head for a fever.... Look for these signs of infection and see if you can also get in with your OB. Mine will scan me two weeks after I take the cytotec and it does it's thing to make sure the tissue is out and then do a d&c if not or give me more meds. You could definitely be given cytotec if need be. Also, I know I had expressed before that the cramping was very normal for me after my son was born, it was bad, it's your uterus going back to its original size. It could be the case for you, but definitely verify with a doctor. Also, did you see the placenta? Just wanting to make sure everything is out....do some natural things too to make sure like moon cycle tea, raspberry nettle, black cohosh...this could push any last tissue on down.... Like others said, trust your intuition because you know your body best. Good luck never ending and definitely, I would schedule in for tomorrow if you are still feeling those chills <3. :hugs:

Thank you for the replays my period normally last three days and is fairly light but when I started ttc they got all out of whack would show a week to a couple days early I am going to go to call the doctor tomorrow but we are going to my partners moms today and she is a nurse so I'll talk to her. I am at the point where I don't think it's normal. They had givin me a set of antibiotics that I only had to take once to prevent infection so I'm hoping that's not it. I find it hard not to believe I passed everything I was passing large clots for 12 hours and the placenta did come out it was the biggest one I swear it felt like half a pound. I just dont want to keep complaining to my partner so have been trying to keep quite about this. I'm just worried and want this over with and like my name it seems never ending thanks you agin for the replies
Sedgeez how are you feeling today?

You shouldn't worry about complaining to your partner, I know I'm the same but this is happening to both of you even if it is your body , I'm sure he wants to be there for you

I think it might be an infection, can I wait until I can call my doc tomorrow. Like I just showered and it doesn't smell to good! The only thing is I'm tired of not felling good and in tired of my own "complaining" I don't want to keep having to talk about it with him he wants to know its just I'm tired of it

I think you should get checked out by your own doc asap. Not basing this on anything but the fact that you don't think what's going on is normal.

Also there is a stickied thread in this forum called "M/c Myths & Facts" that has a lot of info on the miscarriage experience and bleeding patterns. You might find it helpful.
