worried sick after doc appointment

Hi girls I went for a check up today and the doc measured my bump he said that I am measuring 3 weeks behind so measuring 20 weeks instead of 23 +1 so have been booked for an emergency growth scan on Tues?!!! Has anyone had this experience? Does it mean my baby has stopped growing? Im petrified!

I'm pregnant with twins so its a little different but they won't measure me. The nurse practitioner has said recently they've been told its not accurate enough for them to continue to do so. All the best for your scan!

My friend is 30 weeks and since I think around 22 weeks she has measures consistently 2-3 weeks behind.she had a growth scan and baby was found to be right on track.he was just lying transverse which obviously completely changes the measurement!like pp said the measurements are not always an acurate indicator and are justa. Very basic monitoring technique to lead to other ways to double check.I wouldn't stress too much until your scan
