I've just been out for a walk with my puppy and happened to meet one of my fellow dog walking friends along the way. He was saying that on Christmas day he had a stomach bug that he caught from his sister (most likely Norovirus). I have a fear of vomiting and now think i am going to get it. I had to use one of his poop bags too, but i washed my hands several times when i got home. Am i worrying over nothing?.
Please don't laugh at me. Phobias aren't funny at all :cry:

I'm not laughing, you are overreacting though I think, good luck to you xxx

You would have to ingest the virus to get it. So, if he wasn't very close to you while chatting, chances are you're fine (if he had sneezed or cough or was a spitter when he talked then it would increase your risk slightly). Because you scrubbed your hands I'm sure you wouldn't get it from the bag. Symptoms start within 12-48 hours so after 2 days you don't have to worry.

:hugs:
