okay, so this morning i took a pregnancy test and it was positive, i'm 19 by the way. but i'm bleeding some. on and off, lightly. I thought that the bleeding had stopped this morning but then part of the tampon i was wearing last night (just in case) broke off and got stuck so in trying to get it out i seriously cut myself. theres no cramping and it actually doesn't really feel like its all coming out of my cervix (sorry tmi) it feels like some of it is coming out of the cut that is probably constantly being reopened when i put a tampon in (just in case). but definitley some of it is coming out of the cervix, which worries me…because if i am pregnant and this wasn't just some fluke or false positive…then could the bleeding mean miscarriage?

If I were you I'd stop using tampons! Especially seeing as one already broke! That will give the scratch a chance to heal so you can see if that's the cause of bleeding. If you're still worried see your midwife

It could be implantation bleeding, as long as there's no cramping you shouldn't have enough anything toworry about. If I were you I'd visit the doctor and have your hcg levels checked just to see

Do not use a tampon for any bleeding at all during pregnancy. High risk of infection, switch to pads an if your bleeding gets really heavy or you have a lot of pain get seen by a doctor!

Voicing above, no tampons through pregnancy or after until your post birth bleeding stops. Glad you're getting seen, update as when you can!
