Hi, first time posting in this section!
I recently found out I am pregnant again after 4 mcs (I also have a little girl who is 18 months old). I've had 3 mcs before 7 weeks and 1 at 11+3 which was the most recent in February.
The reason I am posting here is to find out if anyone can offer any advice on tests I can get done etc before I see my consultant in almost 3 weeks time. I don't know how far along I am but would estimate 5-6 weeks so I am getting nervous as this is the time when I usually miscarry. I was wondering if it was worth going to the doctors to get progesterone/estrogen levels checked and also if there was anything else I can do? I've read that people with PCOS have a tendency towards low progesterone/high estrogen levels which can cause mc so I read that eating lots of dairy and meat can help to counter this. Now I've read that these things can contain lots of artificial hormones so avoid them! Seems you can't do right for doing wrong.
If anyone has any advice re the above or anything else you can add please feel free, it feels like forever till my appointment and I'm worried it'll all be over by then for a fifth time
