You want to hear something that makes it slightly worse... ha ha you have to laugh but its also my 21st birthday on the 22nd December and i said to him before he went out shopping tonight... (in a jokingly way) you going to get my birthday present and he said no i have already got that !!! haha hmmm think i may be getting some scales for my 21st!!! aaaaaaaaaaaah haha! how do i act when i open them.... OOOOOOOOO!! just what i always wanted darling... to weight myself on my birthday / xmas day to be told ''GET OFF FATTY!!' hahaha xxx

Seriously though, en aren't the sweet romantic creatures who spend days shopping for the perfect gift like we imagine them to be when we're growing up and dreaming of our Prince Charming, but the hope of the romance never fades!

My DH told me, when we first met "never hint at me, if you want something you're gonna have to spell it out, I'm crap at that kinda stuff" bless him, tbh I think most men are the same.

If he moaned that he wanted to learn to play guitar you'd buy him a guitar, he's just doing the same but doesn't quite grasp what a touchy subject weight is for women.

By getting you the scales he's showing that he listens to you and he just wants to support you and make you happy.
