I am due for AF Thursday, Friday, or Saturday (my cycles vary by a few days)

If I were pregnant, There's a good chance it would be detected by now.

I have a pregnancy test in the cabinet in my bathroom, unused. For some reason for me, I would rather find out I wasn't pregnant by the arrival of AF then a negative pregnancy test. There's something about seeing that single line that really makes me upset.

How about everyone else? Is it easier for you to deal with a negative pregnancy test or the arrival of AF?

If it's easier for you then don't use it.

I'm the opposite, I'd prefer to know. My lp is around 15 days so I find the waiting unbearable.

I use to take pregnancy tests as soon as I could, even before pregbancy probably could have been detected. I was obsessed!

But I've seen so many negatives I can't even take looking at them anymore. :(

How long have you been TTC? I think it's a good thing that you're not testing. I thought I might be like that after my MMC but at the moment I'm itching to test and I'm 8 DPO :dohh:

I have been ttc since I was married last May, so almost a year. And since the beginning I have been using OPKs and BD on the important days. I never, in a million years thought that I would be in this position-I honestly believed I would get pregnant right after I was married.

It's so hard to deal with. I'm having such a hard time and of course every month it gets worse.
How about you?
I am 9 DPO today.

We were very lucky (in a way) it was our 3rd attempt! But unfortunately I had a MMC at 10 weeks. We're sort of back on the TTC wagon now though. I haven't had a full cycle since the ERPC at the beginning of the month but was cleared to TTC if we wanted. I o'd 6 days later than normal so our timing is a bit off.

Sorry you've not had any luck yet. Each cycle feels like forever doesn't it. I know they say that 6-12months is still in the normal range but it doesn't make you feel any better. Even though it happened quickly for us it's been a long road, and now we're right back at the start of it.

I'm the opposite! Instead of thinking about and having it constantly on my mind I just take the test and go on with my life. Ive been tcc'ing for 3 years. Im immune to negative tests.

I would say I'd rather test, yes I feel bad when I see the negative test but it helps me to ease my mind and expect af, I try and think positive and thank God for another month of af and get back on the ttc wagon. If I feel too stressed I just take the month off lol.. ttc for 3 years, actively trying since 2014 Mc @ 10 wks. Think positive ladies never allow negative things come out of your mouth you block your blessings that way.

I am the same way, I think I'd prefer to see AF rather than a neg. To me it's like wasted money. Where if AF is late, then I'd test.

I am totally the same. I prefer to see AF arrive and actually dread taking a test. For me, for some reason, testing just gets my hopes up. The first few months TTC I was so excited to test. Now, a year later I just don't feel like wasting my money on them if they are going to be negative  LOL. I only test if I seem to be a day or two late. FX for you!

I've stocked up on cheapies, so I'll test whenever I have an urge! I always assume its going to be negative, so no disappointment here. Though to be fair, I've never tested after I was already late. Testing before I'm late though? No problem.

I hate seeing that negative test, but I always test once a cycle, usually by 12 dpo (luteal phase is 13 days) because I get so hopeful by that time that I just want to know either way and can't stand to wait another 2 days for AF. False hope seems worse to me in some ways.
