I would! And I am. My cot has had 17 members of OH's family in it and is 70+ years old. The Moses basket is also 25+ years old. It's traditional for them to use it and I think it's lovely. Both have been cleaned and repainted though, with new mattresses and etc. x

As long as its still sturdy and you've checked it thorough for any mite infestations and given it a good vacuum and air blast for dust then I don't see why not.
It certainly looks lovely.
Only thing is I use a MB for the convenience of allowing LO to sleep wherever I am in the house, otherwise I'd rather they slept in a cot.
