Wow! Got an appointment TODAY!

I was happily sleeping soundly after a long night shift and the phone rang, which is strange because my family/friends know not to call until at least midday (it was 9:18am). It was the gynecologist office, the lady felt bad for waking me and told me to just call her back later...Yeah right!! I've been waiting on a call back from these guys for over two month! So I said I was fine, and she told me she had a cancellation and can fit me in today!! I was like are you sure?!!

So finally going to get to the NEXT step, I'm pretty excited about that, considering I was told an appointment with this guy (he is the best in town) was going to be a long time coming.

Then when I woke up I realised I was on AF and my heart sunk, so I called them back and she said thats fine - it shouldn't be a problem!!

Yay! sorry, just wanted to share this information, so I'm functioning on about 3 hours sleep, forgot to take BBT with all the chaos- but feeling on top of the world!!

Just got back. He's given me a handful of tests I need to get done. First one tomorrow will test insulin levels and LH level (testing for POCS - which he thinks is a probable cause for no BFP) - so if it is that, at least we can get going on some treatments. Also have to have Blood tests on days 21 and 24 to check on LH hormones to see if I'm ovulating. Also he wants DH to get another semen analysis. And I have to go back in a month for all the results.

Even though it might not be good news, I'm feeling pretty good about it, i feel like i'm really going to get something done, and get on some medication/treatment to make something happen!

It sounds like he is being really thourough, which is a good sign.

Am pleased the appointment went well. It sound's like all the right tests are being conducted and if anything is found, it will be a relief for you both to know what the probable cause of delay is. My belief is that there is no such thing as a problem without a solution, so if you find anything, you can deal with it as you say and find the right treatment to overcome the glitch.

You never know, feeling positive about it might bring a big surprise, while you're waiting for the results (it's happened before).
