    What a stupid stupid stupid thing to show on telly.
    :hissy::hissy::hissy:
    Lets show everyone a hostage situation where a nutter has a bomb!
    Lets just give ideas to people!
    And hell, if you get caught and theres a chance of rescue, we can always set the bomb off and kill ourselves and everybody else.
    FUCK OFF.
    Sorry but this programme is on at 6.30!!!!!!!!! 6.30!!! :hissy::hissy:
    WTF!!
    My dummy is well and truely out of the pram now!

    made me cry :( the music..*sniffles*

  3. T.V has been quite bad recently. The language on that Peter Kay show was awful and before the watershed.

    Me too. I dont think its any worse of a storyline than any of the other soaps do/have done in the past.

    I didnt mind it either. I thought they all played a really good part. I watched the one on E4 so I know what has happened.

    I think it was a bit much for 6.30... Children could be really very distressed by seeing this and there are many children who are not in bed by 6.30! Young children do not know the difference between what they see on telly, and what is real. My nephew saw a big fire on telly the other day and started screaming "Ahhhhhh it's a fire it's dangerous!!!!!" and burst into tears! (I guess he must have been doing fire safety at nursery (he's 3).

    There is also evidence (case studies and experiments) that children and mentally unstable adults copy what they see on the telly. It's called behavioural learning by imitation or something...

    I agree that I would have been upset if my child had been watching telly (while I was cooking dinner perhaps?) and I came in to realise that they had seen a hostage situation, with threats of murder and a big explosion at the end. Okay it wasn't too heavy for most of us, but for young children that scene could be really disturbing :shrug:

    That's just my opinion, but I think that storylines like this should be saved for after the watershed...
