It has no meaning!! Its like just after a slight joke or comment is made.... "LOL"

I mean how many people actually "laugh out loud" when they write LOL... well?!?!

No you don't!! Because if you are actually laughing out loud, because someone has said something THAT funny... you have the decency to reply "Wow, that really made me really chuckle, I swear a little pee came out!" ..... not just LOL!!!!

If i actually 'lol' i either say 'that made me lol' or 'LOL' for emphasis or 'rofl' or 'lmao' when in fact i'm not actually rolling round on the floor or laughing my ass off. I think we all should be very specific in future and only say lol if we laugh out loud. In the usual cases that lol is used we should just say 'thats mildly amusing' or 'i have nothing better to say'
