WTT but when ???

DH and I are torn on when to TTC our second child together.. We very, very blessed to been able to have Emily ( we had to deal with allot of different fertility issues, I only have one clear tube and DH is on the low end of normal count ) She was conceived on our second round of IUI with the help of fertility drugs. We aren't getting any younger ( I am 38 , DH is 41 ) I don't plan on returning to work at the end of my Mat leave so that leaves us with no insurance to cover another IUI. DH's policy doesn't cover any sort of fertility treatment, which means we will be TTC on our own and just let nature take it's course. Our delemia is when should we start to TTC.. I had Merina ( IUD ) placed in when Emily was six weeks old so that would need to be removed, and from what I have read that can also delay conception. I am torn since I have heard of others who had trouble TTC thier first child only to go on a conceive really fast with the second.. I would LOVE to give Emily a sibling but I don't want them to close together.. I would love everyone's insight...Thanks

There is never a perfect age gap and its so difficult deciding when to try for baby 2. my sons 2 and im undecided lol

i see uve got a ticker saying u are wtt for 11 months which seems like a good gap to me seen as u dont want to wait too long but dont want there to be a small gap either.
