To look at it a different way, people who may have previously thought they'd get nowhere reporting these crimes because of the profile of those committing them might now feel able to speak out, thanks to the fuss made in the media.

I dislike that the celebrities involved are being named before they're even charged with anything. Any connection to this whether guilty or innocent will be very difficult to shake.

It also opens with "Leading public relations expert Max Clifford has been arrested on suspicion of sexual offences." I don't know an awful lot about it but surely they can't say that unless he actually has been arrested for a sexual offence?
The articles are stating there is no known link at all to the Jimmy Savile investigations.

Realy sorry was running into work as I was typing this.
The begining bit was ment to say no not directly, it was as part if operation yewtree that is to do with saville or rather other investigations brought about by the original saville case but indirectly.
So basicly other members of bbc, intertanment business that are to blaim foe other offenses.
The media sex offenses goes realy deep ans has done for years.
There was a child star from eastenders back in the 80's that wrote a report about being sexualy abused by directors, co stars, producers on nearly every show ans play he was in and ince by a politition.
Thats what the third teir looks into, trying to find how deep the entertainment sex abuse scene goes and being a major publacist im sure he know if not is involved in alot
