Didnt know this part fo the site existed. Silly me :(

Anyway im looking at doing a xmas hamper for relatives with things like jams, preserves, bread, shortbread, truffles etc

Can someone maybe help me with a list of things to include?
then i can search for recipes in my books etc. :) xxx

well those you have mentioned sound good.

what about chutneys? chocolates (poundland had some moulds and if you temper the chocolate they won't bloom or melt so quickly - instructions on tempering can be found online)?, peppermint creams? orange creams? cookies? cookie in a jar (all the dry ingredient layered in a jar with instructions on how to make them)? snowman soup? christmas pudding? christmas cake?

I would just look around some places that sell them, like M&S, waitrose etc and pick ideas that suit whoever you're giving them to.

It's a shame you hadn't posted this a few days ago, someone posted a link to an offer on M&S for a hamper that was half price for one day only!
