Yankee Candels........Safe or not??

Hi All,

I have a dog so I have Yankee candles burning everyday. (since day one of pregnancy)

its just occured to me that this may not be safe and im 23 weeks??

Does anyone know??

I think it should be fine? I have one in my room burning occasionally. I read the other day though that spray on deoderant isnt good for the baby? So, i'm going to switch to a roll on

Surely not..I've never heard of that. if this was the case then midwives would surely recommend not to wear spray on deoderant??! I'd like to think they would anyway!
Regarding Yankee candles I've never heard that candles were bad, what makes you think that hun? x

Im sure they are fine, i wouldnt worry about it.
Mmmm yeh, clean cotton is amazing. i love yankee candles. my husband used to get them dead cheap when he lived in germany with the army...i might go put mine on right now...

Just bought Baby Powder for the Nursery! wont burn it though, might be too much for baby!!
They have also brought a new one out called Soft Blanket with a teddy on the front, also very lush.

I have the worst effing Heart burn right now!! ouch

My absolute fave is Egyptian Cotton, but I have tons all around the house!

I always use yankee candles ! I love them and yes love the clean cotton one.

I have never heard about the spray on deoderant thing either, theres no much you read which says its not safe but in my eyes, there not going to say its good for a baby are they, I still use spray on deoderant - I just try not to breath any products like that in as i guess that cant be good, like you say if things like that were that dangerous your MW would give you a long list but you just need to do what feels right
