Hiya.

I'm 9 weeks pregnant today Yippeeeeee :headspin: :happydance: :headspin: :happydance:

But, and I know I'm probably worrying about nothing, I had what they call a 'missed abortion' between my 2 boys.
The baby stopped growing at 9 weeks, and I didn't know until a 12 week scan, as I didn't have any symptoms of misscarriage.

I'm gonna be worrying now until my Nuchal Scan on the 10th March....

:happydance: 9 weeks YAY!

10th of March is just around the corner hun. :hugs:

i suggest silencing your worries by focusing on chocolate and the E! channel and mediating on shopping. these are good distraction tools, i promise! :)

Anne-Marie I know its easy for me to say try not to worry, but try and think that once a hearbeat has been seen at 7-8 weeks, statistically the pregnancy has a 95% chance of continuing!

Hi Ann Marie

It is only natural to worry. Could you ask for an early scan to reassure you?

My sister had an early scan as she miscarried in a previous pregnancy.

xxx

gosh your totally bound to worry, have you seen a midwife yet? i'd think you could get a scan due to past history? the other option if your getting really anxious about it is to pop to your local maternity unit and wait in a queue for a scan (i did this as they don;t do dating scans in my area) you sort of have to claim some aches or spotting but it would put your mind at rest :hugs:

:hugs: I hope the next three weeks passes quickly for you :hugs:

Best wishes and prayers for you :) The anxiety and worries in the first trimester are not fun, especially when you've had a prior experience. We are here for you :)

:hugs::hugs:

Thanks girls :)

I nearly threw up on my dinner, so I think it's safe to say Bubs is fine, if not me

Now That is a plan :happydance:

Sending positive, sticky, growing thoughts! Congrats on week 9!

Shame! Try not to worry! It's not healthy.

Exactly the same story here. My first pregnancy ended with a missed abortion at exactly 9 weeks.
This time our first scan was at 8 weeks 5 days. So I really didn't want to be all excited even after we saw a heartbeat. Luckily I'm with the same gynae as I was with the last pregnancy so he told me to come in after 2 weeks for a follow up. Everything was fine (as I've already shared with you. Jumping up and down squealing  )

Luckily your next date isn't too far off. You have to believe that it'll be fine. Try not to dwell on bad feelings. It's really difficult and I have found myself worried sick quite often. It'll be here before you know it and everything will be fine :D :hugs:

Hey Anne Marie

I think we are all the same, worrying about every little bit. Chin up, stay positive (oh god it's so easy giving out advice!!!!), everything will be fine and dandy. Throwing up is gooooooood, neayl did myself last night. Fell asleep on sofa (oh I'm getting good at it!) and woke feeling ill ......... roasted chicken again!!!!! I used to lvoe them smell but now it turns my stomach.

Positive thoughts your way, try not to worry :)

I know how u feel because i had a missed miscarriage with my first pregnancy and only found out at my 12 week scan. Sending lots of sticky thoughts your way although im sure u and baby will be perfectly healthy xx

Im sure everything will be fine :hugs::hugs::hugs: try not to worry go and rent a chick flick and enjoy

Thankyou... I haven't been on the boards much as I've been really sick... I cannot stand the smell or taste of anything :( It's good though, I know that deep down... it's keeping me going :)

My SPD is really playing up today though, it's starting so early, I think I may be on crutches again within a couple of weeks. I can't believe we do this to ourselves

My sister had this, but she carried two very healthy babies afterwards. Try your best not to worry babe, I am sure all will be fine! :hugs: x

Yay, we're both due round the same time! I was kinda lucky, as I thought I had a miscarriage last week (heavy bright bleeding) and so I ended up getting a scan. I got to hear the heartbeat! Theguy made me cry coz I swore I hate lost it as the doc had told me my cervix had opened (he was new i think) and the scan guy asked me if I wanted to hear the heartbeat. I was so shocked that it was still alive I cried. My mum and partner cried when he said it too. Such an emotional day!

Anyways, im due on 19th sep, has anyone told u you approx due date? How r u finding ur pregnancy? I'm finding that my morning sickness has startled to go and im finding my sex drive again.
