Ok ,is 12 DPO too late to have spotting? Im expecting my period in 2 days (Jan 23) and I have NEVER spotted before. I just went to the bathroom at 5 am this morning, and there was a dime size amount of sticky cloudy CM. I wiped a few times, but then I felt the need to go a little more. That time I wiped there was maybe a nickel size amount of yellowish CM (Again never seen this before) with some dark brown spots. Wiped again nothing... is this too late or too close to my period to get IB???

I have have loads of symptoms this month, but I have been trying to ignore them because they have fooled me before. I believe I OV on CD14. (Positive OPK) (First time using OPKS could be wrong, still figuring it all out).

Also two nights ago while laying in bed, I had horrible sharp cramping in my right ovary, then my right breast. Intense enough to make me seize up a bit.

Every month before AF I get yellowish cm. I think its due to progesterone. And the spotting may be AF getting ready to come sadly but it could also be implantation. Its definitely not too close to AF for it to be IB because that can take up to 12-14days, sometimes longer but alot of times sooner. Alot of women will spot for a couple days before AF comes and it can be very confusing at first =( Hope AF stays away from u!! Good luck hun.

I have been researching this this morning, and it seems there is a split debate on AF/IB. A lot places say you can get IB or spotting as late as 14DPO. Im confused though because this is my first time using OPKS and there is a good chance my dates might be wrong. It was such a little amount that I can barely even classify it as spotting, and Ive gone twice since then and there is nothing. Just a very weird occurrence for me as I have never ever had any spotting before.

It could be IB. Some women don't have implantation happen until 16dpo, its alot rarer but it happens so 12dpo def isn't too early for implantation. Just keep checking for more. If it doesn't get heavier or the normal color by the time AF is due, def test! If it is IB, I heard u can get a pos 2-4 days after. (of course it can take longer for a positive to show). Good luck! Baby dust to you!!

I'm a spotter before full flow AF. It's so irritating. Hope this isn't the case for you and it's just a delayed implantation bleed! xx

My 2nd son didn't implant until af was due actually my af was regular that month except it lasted 3 days instead of 5 i used tampons and everything the next month af was 1 day late gt bfp went to er that day they did a scan i was 6wks 2days pregnant. So it'sdifferent for everyone

Yea it completely depends on the person. I hate spotting! Lol it shouldn't happen especially when women are trying soo hard to conceive and spotting can be a possible sign so it gets hopes up or down when it could be a good sign or a bad sign, it all depends on the person. I always wish for the best for all u girls though! Def keep us posted!

Ok, so I decided to perform a certain test if you will. To see if I could get any more of this weird stuff. I cannot perform a q-tip test or reach my cervix with my fingers. My cervix is very high up, and tilted or some nonsense. Docs have to really reach to get it. So I performed this test if you will to get some CM to come down and what do you know, there this weird stuff was again. I almost took a picture of it but I didnt want to gross people out. Again it was a miniscule amount but it is TAN/yellowy colored. Maybe peachy pinky??? In little dots of brown mixed in with clear CM. There doesnt appear to be any red blood associated with it. It really is the strangest thing I have ever seen. I have minor cramps today, its not an infection, I have no pain or discomfort there....SUPER SUPER weird.
Also I was thinking if it was IB, I may have had it on 10DPO but because my cervix is way high up, it took a while for it to come down. I got it at 5 am this morning. We havent BD'd or anything to have disturbed it. Ok online sights say IB can be as early as 6 days or as late as 12, although 10 is average. I am intrigued now to see what will come of this..... Great well now I dont know when to test!!

Well, it seems you all were right...I had nothing else all day yesterday or today. Then when I just went a few minutes ago, the toilet paper had little pinky/browny streaks again....so AF will be right on time. Please excuse me while I go scream and cry for the next hour.
