So FOB has not been in contact since I asked [for the 4th time] about how much he was going to contribute towards the nursery and maintenance. Which just proves how much of a cowardly dick he is. I also found out via a couple of mutual friends that he never talks about the baby... and aside from giving his mate £500, spending £750 on a new SLR camera and £10,000 in savings, he also does go out drinking and everything with mates. I wouldn't be bothered about it if it wasn't for him saying he never does and not giving any money for the baby.
However his mum stays in contact with me, every couple weeks or so, just to stay involved which I kind of understand. But I know whatever I tell her she then tells to her son, which is again understandable, but also I find it annoying how this is again another reason for him not to get involved. I just don't know how much to tell his mum or not to tell his mum?
I also was speaking to a friend of mine who said that I was going to find it so hard when after the baby is born he gets involved. Aside from me having doubts he would want to be I also think it is so unfair he might think he can waltz in 9 months down the line and suddenly want to be involved. Plus, as he is in lala land over a job, he would only be contributing £5 a week due to JSA whereas I have to work 2 jobs to keep the money coming in.
Sorry for yet another long rant but so much has pissed me off this week and my friend, through no fault of her own, topped it off. Imagine if I had walked out on my side of the responsibilities X amount of months ago, I wouldn't even be on these forums. Makes me so angry.
