Your LO's name/meaning!

Our baby girl will be named Layla Leatrice. Layla means "black beauty" in Persian and African. We actually didn't know that until after we named her. Leatrice is my deceased grandmothers name.

Avery means courageous in german I believe. It had no specific meaning other than it was the only name me and DH generally loved for boy or girl. I like especially for a boy since there don't seem to be many boys with this name anymore. Gene is my grandfathers name who I am extremely close to and love so that's where that comes from! :)

Where naming our little girl PAISLEY MAY ELIZABETH.

Dont know the meaning behind any of the names, but we chose them because mine and dhs fave country star is called brad paisley, though it is originally a scotish name. May, cause thats the month we got married, and elizabeth cause theres a lor of women in both our families with that name.

After 5 boys, we wanted something unique for our only girl.

Were calling our lil man A.J

My hubby's name is Archie & we always loved Archie if we had a lil boy too....

Hubby came up with Archie Junior one day (A.J) and its really stuck

So he's going to be Archie Junior, or A.J for short :) x

Anna (grace of God) Renee (reborn)(also my moms middle name)

For some reason she's ALWAYS been just simply Anna to us. Nothing spectacular about the name that I loved, that was just it.. looked up the meaning not long before she was born and was amazed.. That's exactly what she was to me.. the grace of God reborn

It was becoming pregnant at such a difficult time that brought me back closest to my creator. Life's never been better, never could be. x

Max Lewis William

The greatest/ Famous warrior/ Protection

I think its a very strong name :) My OH is called Lewis and my Grandad William

IF we go with Francesca Violet Mae then it's for these reasons:

Francesca - OH's Grandad was Italian called Francisco so this works, we also like the fact it can be shortened easily
Violet - my Grandma's name. She passed away a couple of years ago
Mae - the month of May is important for us, both our birthdays and our anniversary in that month. If we have another daughter, she'll probably have Mae as a middle name too.

Quinn Violet

Quinn - Wise/intelligent. We wanted something unique but not too weird, and I finally managed to persuade my OH to use it as a first name and now he loves it

Violet - A flower. OH loved the name from the start but we didn't use it as a first name because it would be shortened to Vi.

Rosalie Grace

Latin for Rose / Rosa

She will be called Rose most of the time, except when she's naughty probably. Our other DD is Ashleigh Anne which means a glade in a forest of Ash tree's. And Anne is our traditional family middle name.

Cathal Ross

Cathal means 'battle mighty'

Ross was my mothers maiden name, she passed away when I was 11 and I want to keep the family name going.

Lucia Maria-Lorraine

Lucia is Italian meaning light
Maria is Latin meaning star of the sea- also hubbys mums name
Lorraine is of French origin meaning Gracious Laurel- also my mums name

Noah is hebrew and means 'rest' and 'comfort'. John is after my grandad who has passed and Laurence after my uncle who has passed x

my little man will be called Harry Desmond Kennedy

Harry means mighty in war and ruler of his home
Desmond is my grandads name who sadly passed away 2 years ago x

i'm irish but moved to scotland 6 years ago so i wanted to pick an irish name.
My OH really liked the name 'Orla' (usually spelt 'Orlaith') so thats what we've decided to call her.
I think it means golden princess or something in irish gaelic but we didn't find that out until after we'd chosen it.
her middle name 'Ann' is after my grandmother who died at the end of october when i was 22 1/2 weeks pregnant.

Lilliana Makanoe

Lilliana - Lily (as in the flower)
Makanoe - Misty Eyed this is my grandmother's middle name and it is Hawaiian :)

Was going to be Ty...cant remember meaning off top of my head. But We're now calling him Rhys - means dragon

Haha my LOs name meaning is an oak tree. :haha:

I didn't care about the meaning, I loved the name. His middle name is Benjamin which is his great grandfathers name (on his daddy's side)

We had a plant/nature theme going on with our names as he was going to be Ivy Renée if he was a girl. Ivy is my great grandmothers name.
