zantac and BF help please

just started taking zantac for unbearable nausea...does it even work ?!!!!

anyway i heard its unknown the effects on BF babies so just wondered about anyones experiences with zantac and BF

Does it work on nausea? I feel so awful the dr thinks its coeliacs or something happened to my stomach during the labour

help is much needed and much appreciated

zantac works by reducing the amount of acid in your stomach. not sure how it would reduce nausea though - it's not an antiemetic. I'm pretty sure it's safe to use whilst bf hun.

I imagine it's safe for babies since they prescribe zantac to babies with acid reflux. I have no idea if it helps with nausea.

ty guys the baby seems fine today no more sick than she usually is so hopefully all going well im just amazed i can swallow the tablets!
