Hi

I'm currently ttc #2. I got a smiley face on my opk yesterday and we dtd last night, this morning without thinking I took a zantac tablet (75mg) as I suffer from reflux/indigestion. Then I panicked thinking that if by some chance we get pregnant I damaged the fertilization process

Do you think I would have done any harm if I do conceive?

I've read on here that loads of people are taking zantac and other OTC drugs for indigestion but im still worried as my son was born with disabilities.

Anyone taking this whilst ttc?

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Thanks

Lou.x

^ agreed - it is safe while TTC, pregnant, breastfeeding and for tiny lil babies (although in all cases apart from TTC you should consult a doctor)

I get horrible reflux/indigestion around O time! And yes, it is perfectly safe to take per my pharmacist. It's safer than Pepto, actually.

I'm prescribed 300mg of Zantac from the GP, he knows I'm TTC and actually switched me to it from another not researched medication when I told him I planned a baby - I trust that it's safe and you've done no damage.
