long story short, DH had a SA done back in Oct , his count was 3 mil and zero morphology. He did major life style changes and lost 20 lbs. He redid SA and no change at all except his motility that was good first time, is no bad..sigh..
we are refrered to FC already by our family Dr, but with 0 morphology , safe to say we cant even do IVF... We are SOOO sad :( TIA

From what I've read on here it seems you do have hope, especially with IVF. My DH has a 1% morphology, but all other numbers are good and were told by our RE that we had plenty of hope, it was just another hurdle. There are options for your DH and for you so try not to give up until you talk to the specialist. Has he tried any supplements, antioxidants or something like Fertilaid? My DH can't take that because it makes him sick and he's a wuss lol but he's on antioxidants, L-Carnatine and soon to add CoQ10.

God I REALLY REALLY hope so.. We are seeing specialist once we start going FC.. He just takes generic vitamins ..

Have him at least start some antioxidants and if you can afford it something special like Fertilaid for men. I know when my DH took them his libido shot through the roof! Had to be doing something for him lol. My DH is trying to cut out his energy drinks because too much of those is bad for the little swimmers, and after he successfully cuts those out he's going to try to quit smoking. He doesn't smoke much, about 1/3 a pack a week tops but he still smokes and that's bad also. At least he doesn't drink much :happydance:

Seriously don't give up, my RE said there is a lot they can do to help the guys out, I'm lucky I guess, only real issue is his morphology but that's still a big one as poor as it is. I do have PCOS so we have a double whammy against us, and it's draining us financially as we have no fertility coverage, but it's worth it.

Are you in the states? Drug stores, grocery stores...the brand we got was called Basics and it's called super antioxidants, but it is just high doses of Vit. C, Vit D, Vit E, and Selenium I think.

No Canada. I asked the pharmacy technician yesterday , he gave me the look and said there is no such a thing as antioxidant supplement. Vitamin C,E & A are all antioxidant. I guess I try online

Thanks! It was a BFN this morning, but tomorrow is the day my RE said to test so I'll wait, but I know I'm out...

Here is a link to the stuff my RE recommended, but I know natures's plus makes them too, and I'm sure others do as well.

Thanks! Got a :bfn: and AF showed up Monday so I am going back to the RE tomorrow to start 100mg of clomid and another IUI should be around the corner. Keep me posted on how things go for you!

I'm SO sorry to hear :( Hugsss.... I did my HSG yesterday..we will see the Re in Feb. When will you be your next IUI round.. PM me if you like to talk

I am not certain of my next IUI round as the 100mg of clomid didn't work so well so I'm now on 150mg and go back Thursday for another ultrasound. I feel like something is happening now, some ovary pain and feeling of fullness in my abdomen so hopefully the follicles are a good size by Thursday.

How did the HSG go? February will be here so soon!

I'll PM you also. It's nice to have a buddy.
