nah, i think my hospital birth required more bravery than my HB
It really comes down to how you view birth and how normalized it is for you. Of course, if you are not low risk thats a different story as well.

you make a good point. maybe it's just because I'm a TTC for the first time that makes it scary

I have to agree with Guppy. I'm petrified of hospitals so I think people that birth there are brave Hehe.

Just after I shouted the pool wasn't going to be filled in time I said the baby was coming - my doula lifted my skirt to check and sure enough he was crowning

Looking through this amazing thead ive come to realise i never shared my home birth pictures.

DS1 born June 2013 - a planned home water birth

Baby No3 is due on Christmas day and i am hoping for a home birth and considering having my 3 and 5 years olds present if they wish.

Awww those are all so beautiful ! im so jealous ladies ,my husband an i had originally planned for a water birth but my son decided he wanted to stay in mommy for week an half later and they had to induce me. Im hoping for my next baby i can find a birthing center near me . the one we were going to closed and i think the nearest one in my state is 3 hours away
