1-day period after d&c

Hello all,

sorry if tmi:
I had a d&c 8/18 for a blighted ovum (8 weeks scan showed 6 weeks sac). Yesterday 9/21 I woke up to my "period" which was fairly moderate in blood loss. As the day went on, the flow got lighter and lighter until it just stopped. I figured your periods can be light after a miscarriage but to be only 1 day? I will call my doctor first thing tomorrow but I just needed some advice in the mean time. Thanks to anyone who can help.

Hello, I apologize...I didn't know someone had responded to this. Anyway, Im thinking now that that first period was just abnormal but that should be a given since I had just had a d&c and my body was recovering. I am now on my second period post d&c and it is back to the way it was...on time with moderate bleeding for first 2 days then tapering off for the next 2 or 3.

I've always found the first one resets things and can be a bit odd one way or another xx
