Hello,
Currently in my 2ww after my 1st IUI ( 33 years old single mom of 2, done waiting for M. Right to show up so decided to do it on my own).
I'm 10 days past trigger (ovidrel 250mcg so 6500 U) and got a clear BFP this morning. Hoping it's not leftover from my trigger!! What were you expériences with triggers?20191022_114345.jpg

No experience here but I just wanted to wish you good luck! :happydance:

My trigger faded away after a week, it was also 250 if I'm not mistaken. I think test again in the following days and if it's getting darker than it's definitely not the trigger! Good luck!

Thank you so much!! I tested again tonight after a 2 hour hold (urine was dark enough judging by the color haha) and got a bfp, and it looked darker than the one I got this morning (which was basically after a 4 hour hold since I woke up at 3 at night to the lovely sound of my cat throwing up hairball but that's another story lol). I know I shouldn't have tested but there's no going back now is there lol. On top of that I'm also on progesterone so of course I feel preggo (and I've been pregnant 4 times so comes a time you just know and roll with it hahaha). I really hope it's a bfp!! I'm 8 dpo and got my BFP both times at 8 dpo with my girls.20191022_183759.jpg

Update. It was the trigger...tested this morning and BFN :( now I know it takes the full 10 days for my body to get rid of it. I'm 5'2 and 92 lbs so that explains it lol.
I also miscalculated I am 10 days past trigger today, so 9 dpo. Feeling pretty stupid right now, thinking it would work the first time :(
My DD's are from a previous relationship and I never had issues getting pregnant (worked on 1st or 2nd cycle) but for some reason I'm panicking, convinced something is wrong with me and won't be able to conceive again. I hate my brain!! Lol

:hugs: it could be hubby and not you.

I'm doing this on my own (been divorced for 5 years and have yet to meet a man ready to commit ) so it's frozen donor sperm. I'm meeting my OB-gyn in 2 weeks so I'll have a chat with her about my options should IUI fail. I know my clinic has good success with IVM and seems I could be a good candidate based on my results. And wayyy cheaper lol. We shall see

Oh no I'm so sorry. It is still early though so don't lose hope! How many cycles of iui have you done already? We are using donor sperm too, but from a known donor.

It's my 1st try I know it often takes more than 1 try but I was sooo hopeful!!! At sperm donor is 700$ each try so honestly I won't do more than 2. I'm meeting my OB-GYN in 2 weeks and will talk to her about other options (I really like the idea of IVM and I could afford it!! :) ) or a mini IVF. I know it's early to talk about it but IUI will get really expensive really quickly :( how many tries have you done yet ? I think next time I'll ask To do the IUI 36-38 hours past trigger(mine was done about 30 hours after.

Got a clear BFN this morning :-( I'm gonna stop the progesterone no point in taking it it's just gonna mess up my cycles and it makes me miserable. Of course AF will come next week when I'm dealing with my mid terms (I have yet to start studying lol). It's my birthday on Saturday, a BFP would have been the best present!! But Hey I'll have all the wine I want:mrgreen:

That's crazy, $700 for sperm...... How can they even justify that kind of price. Happy early birthday by the way and I hope you enjoy yourself this weekend!!

I know this might sound weird but I've heard of people doing it before, is there anyone you can ask to donate some sperm? :haha:

Hahaha yeah I've thought about it. But I'm more worried about legal issues and such. With an open donor you have a "clean cut" and the kid can still know more about the feather when he/she is older.

We are now on cycle 12 and after 2 losses. Got my bfp and hope it sticks this time. We are doing at home inseminations with a known donor, who's a friend with whom we have a contract.

You could always draw up a contract and have it notarized to make it legal? Not sure if that would work or not a 100% but it seems like it would.

Congrats!!!! I know the feeling I had 2 miscarriages before having my oldest. I was sooo nervous the whole 1st trimester!!! I was put on low dose aspirin and progesterone. I always for pregnant on 1st on 2nd cycle I'm just hoping it will be roughly the same (I was 27 and 28 then).

I ended up keeping taking the progesterone, stupidly thinking it would give me a late BFP...of course not. The only thing that's late is my period because of the progesterone! I dont think I'm gonna do another IUI. with frozen sperm it's not worth it. I'll see about IVF. For now I'm gonna take some double shifts at work. 16 hours straight will give me something else to think about as well as a nice paycheck.
